Sam's Son Productions was created with the aim of becoming one of WA's boutique TV and video production companies.
John Silvestro - Producer/Director Founder, John Silvestro, began his production career in 1995, working as a camera operator on short films and music videos. While studying film and video at Edith Cowan University, John worked for just about everybody in Perth's TV production scene. These ranged from studio based sports programs, such as "The Locker Room", a 3 hour live sports review program co-hosted by former Wildcat Scott Fisher, to live sporting events such as cricket from the WACA (broadcast nationally on Channel 9) and horse racing from Belmont and Ascot (broadcast internationally on Sky). After graduating from university, John relocated to WA's beautiful southwest, where Sam's Son Productions are now permanently based.
Luke Caruana - Cinematographer/Editor Luke has been a creative camera operator and editor, making hundreds of quality TV commercials since 2010 - if you have seen a TV commercial in WA, you have seen something he has done! Having started out as a camera assistant, he has worked hard up to lead cinematographer. His energy and enthusiasm make him a welcome addition on any film shoot.
